The world-renowned Bressingham Gardens are full of colour and interest and with the lovingly renovated High Barn, it’s a photographer’s dream. With 17 acres of formal gardens, you can take your pick of picture-perfect settings including flint and wooden bridges, a thatched hut in the Dell Garden and water features galore. The barn itself is a striking modern space with plenty of natural daylight and wow factor. The brick and stone building boasts a vaulted roof, mood lighting, light-oak exposed beams and frame. The sandstone paved courtyard looks a picture bordered with colourful flowers and lit up at night, it’s an ideal space for mixing and mingling. You can tie the knot in the barn with up to 120 ceremony guests and celebrate afterwards in the Roseanne reception and dining rooms. There’s a chill-out area complete with comfy seating and a marquee-lined dining space for the reception. Oak-crafted details such as rustic hanging light features and a walkway deck echo the feel of the barn. With space for around 150 for the wedding breakfast, guests can enjoy their meal while taking in the panoramic views across tree-lined open pastures. During the summer a veranda can also be set up to make the most of the glorious setting. For the evening do, you can party with up to 200 loved ones and there’s exclusive accommodation available on site for up to 20 people within the Grade II listed Bressingham Hall. We love... that, by prior arrangement, you can hire the famous gallopers at Bressingham Steam Museum exclusively for your guests to enjoy a magical vintage carousel ride. Butley Priory, Nr Woodbridge 01394 450 046 | butleypriory.co.uk Located in the wilds of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, the gatehouse is virtually all that’s left of the former Augustinian Priory.
