Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - September/October 2024 (Issue 51)

Corey looked great in black tie matching the groomsmen. I wore the Medina Dress by Jeune Bridal. I was looking for a figure-hugging, beaded and sequinned dress. This style featured balloon sleeves with frill cuffs that I detached for the evening. Your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. Take it all in and make sure you stop multiple times throughout the day to have a private moment with each other. At the end of the film when Cosette marries and leaves her father Jean Valjean, I asked my dad where Cosette was going. He explained that this is what happens when you grow up, fall in love, marry and leave your father. My response was: ‘I will never leave my daddy!’ There wasn’t a dry eye among our guests!” - Amina Our beautiful bridesmaids wore floor-length, mint green, chiffon dresses. Each was in a different style but the same colour and fabric. We booked a live band called The Distractions which covered all music genres and were a huge hit with our guests. They switched from playing romantic songs as we walked down the aisle, to relaxed, chill-out summer tunes at our reception. Our guests were up dancing during the evening and some took the band’s business card at the end of the night, and two of them have gone on to book The Distractions for their weddings in 2025!
