It sits within 20 acres of tranquil and picturesque surroundings of gardens, woodland and river, offering a stunning backdrop for big-day photographs. There’s a large private lake for swimming, boating and canoeing – perfect for nature lovers. The property features 21 spacious bedrooms and more accommodation options on-site for additional guests, including Cork Tree Cottage. The ground floor of the house features an oak-panelled front hall, lounge, bar, dining room, commercial kitchen and other kitchen spaces. Indoor and outdoor ceremonies can take place anywhere within the house and grounds. For indoor ceremonies, the oak-panelled front hall can host larger weddings for up to 90 guests or 150 loved ones standing with the beautifully styled living room offering a more intimate ceremony option seating up to 50 people. Outside, the front of the house, back gardens, hand-crafted custom-made wooden wedding pagoda, or in front of the rare cork oak tree provide beautiful backdrops - these outdoor spaces can host up to 200 people. The elegant dining room seats up to 85 guests for a sit-down wedding breakfast. Additional guests can be split between the dining room and the front hall (150 guests total). Alternatively, couples can hire a marquee and host up to 200 people. The front hall can be used for the evening party, with the bar and lounge conveniently situated next to it, or the party can be hosted in the marquee. Tucked away among the rolling hills of Dartmoor, the farm radiates history and rural charm, offering weddings a blank canvas to style with any theme. The floor plan is split into two rooms, with an intimate bar area giving way to the multifunctional main space. Seating up to 100 guests at trestle tables, the venue offers a warm and inviting space. Outside, steps lead up to a lawned terrace offering spectacular views over the Teign Valley. This is a lovely spot for welcome drinks and canapés or to set up a marquee for additional covered space. Additional outside space consists of the upper and lower orchards flanking the terrace and barn. Ceremonies are hosted on the lawned terrace where up to 120 guests can be seated. Indoor ceremonies can enjoy the use of the barn, seating up to 120 loved ones that also host the wedding breakfast. There are plenty of animals around! Included in the wedding package is one of the holiday lets with two roll-top bathtubs on the deck admiring the surrounding view.
