We wanted a spa retreat and enjoyed some pampering.” - Nadene and Steve special. My hairdresser, Tracy was also great – she was there for me in the morning, helping me to get ready in a calm manner.” Steve wore a navy three-piece suit with a gold pattern similar to a tartan style. “This was a nice touch for my new Scottish wife,” he tells us. “ I teamed it with a champagne-coloured tie and pocket square matching the pattern and a pair of tan leather shoes. My groomsman wore the same as me without a waistcoat and with a pair of different shoes.” Nadene and Steve had five bridesmaids who all looked beautiful in their sage green dresses in different styles. “I asked them to wear their hair and make-up how they liked because they all have their style and I wanted them to keep their individuality,” Nadene says. TIME TO ENTERTAIN “I was very proud of Steve’s speech because I know how hard he had worked on it in the months leading up to our wedding and that he was nervous speaking in front of our loved ones,” Nadene says. He delivered it so well, it was funny and heartfelt and my dad was impressed too.” The couple hired a DJ who was recommended to them by the venue. “We gave them a list of music to play before the wedding.” 30
