Take everything in because the day goes by so fast. We had candles, plates, table runners and chair ribbons to match each of the four Hogwarts house colours. Our favours, along with the rest of our stationery were place cards made from wildflower seed paper. The china crockery was secondhand and some pieces were old family heirlooms which was very special. The bottles that the flowers were displayed in were collected from our farm and family members. Josh’s brother, Ryan is a carpenter so he made the top table using wood from our farm. He also created the dancefloor and stage. We had four long tables named Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw inspired by the four Hogwarts houses in Harry Potter. “I felt nervous but very excited.” - Josh The cake was made by the mother of our bridesmaid, Heather, and decorated by the bridesmaids with edible flowers. Both of our mums made cakes which were served with the mini desserts. We toasted the speeches with elderflower-flavoured champagne that I made with my mum. We had some romantic couple photographs taken on a clifftop which looked incredible! 35 REAL WEDDINGS
