Matt wore a simple grey suit paired with a white shirt, sage-green tie and a pair of brown brogues. I wore dress style no 6988 by Stella York. It was a simple, elegant style with a layered skirt. I teamed my dress with a long plain veil and wore a pair of drop crystal earrings and some hairpins. I finished my look with a pair of ivory court shoes that were so comfortable. Our caterers Paula and Nick provided each guest with an individual board of canapés because our original idea was to have sharing platters but we had to alter this slightly due to the restrictions in place at the time. Our delicious semi-naked cake decorated with fresh flowers suited our theme perfectly and featured a strawberry and lemon curd filling. My bridal bouquet was stunning, I loved it! Alice used oak barrels from the vineyard to create an outstanding floral arrangement for the altar. Our favours were packets of wildflowers to be planted at home and remember our wedding by.
