LOOKING THE PART Lauren wore a cream suit having been inspired by the bridal look of Bianca Jagger when she married the lead singer of the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, in 1971. “I love fashion so browsed through Pinterest for ideas,” Lauren tells us. “I fell in love with this outfit that Millie Mackintosh wore more recently. I ordered quite a few suits and jumpsuits but nothing was the right colour. In the end, I found my dream suit at Reiss and Sam wore a two-tone suit from there too, teamed with a blue-spotted tie and a cream rose buttonhole. The suits looked fantastic and worked so well together and I was able to get a local milliner to create my cream fedora hat finished with ribbon detail.” Lauren also held an elegant bouquet of ivory and green varieties that complemented her suit well. “Holly, our florist, is so talented and knows me well so what she created for me was perfect,” Lauren says. TIME TO ENTERTAIN “Whilst we didn’t have readings, Sam, my dad, our best man and maid-of-honour all have speeches prepared ready for our wedding blessing,” Lauren tells us. “I put together a sentimental message for Sam that I handed to him following our ceremony for him to read in private.” Top tip: “Don’t think of anyone else but yourselves when it comes to planning your wedding.
