She tells us, “I’ve also moved to doing online consultations and posting tasters out to couples because of not being able to meet them. I cater for all weddings, from intimate elopement ceremonies with just the happy couple to celebrations with more than 150 guests (when restrictions lift). Claire tells us, “another good idea for small intimate celebrations is for couples to have a wedding cake taking centre stage with mini cakes displayed on a smaller stand that they can send to their guests who couldn’t attend.” Claire is seeing one trend that’s here to stay during 2021. “The ever-popular fresh flowers from the florist creating the wedding blooms being used to decorate the cake ensures that everything coordinates.
