Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 26)

We decided to have a big get together the evening before the wedding so that we could catch up with guests and they could all get to know one another. They bonded over a game of skittles which was great! This removed the pressure to catch up with everyone on the day and meant we all felt more relaxed. The Horn of Plenty was the first venue that we visited – it made me cry as we walked around! Nothing else compared to it. My dad seeing me in my dress for the first time and walking me down the elegant staircase in the hotel, and the aisle are very memorable moments. “My friends created a video for me featuring my close family members, friends and new hubby – luckily I watched it before my make-up was done because it had me in floods of tears!” - Sarah Andy and his groomsmen all wore matching charcoal grey suits with light-grey waistcoats and champagne cravats – they all looked so stylish. 40
