After sitting empty for years, the barn has been lovingly transformed into the perfect wedding location able to host up to 200 guests. It boasts a dancefloor, stylish bar, cartwheel chandeliers, soft up-lighting, silk parachutes strung from the ceiling and fairylights scattered throughout, creating a magical, romantic ambience. Hire of The Grain Store includes exclusive-use from the Friday to the Monday allowing couples time to style it, plus accommodation at the farmhouse, a five-star, seven-bedroom house featuring luxury interiors that sleeps up to fourteen wedding guests. Ceremonies take place in The Grain Store itself for up to 200 guests seated, or a blessing can be held in the tranquil garden adjoining the farmhouse, that’s bordered by old stone walls and has a south-facing stone terrace with steps leading down into the garden. There’s also the option of a ceremony in the idyllic field located close to the beach, again for up to 200 loved ones. Receptions can take place in a marquee here in this field, with the capacity varying, depending on the choice of the marquee. TREVENNA, LISKEARD, CORNWALL Located in a secluded setting within 142 acres of the Cornish countryside, Trevenna is a cluster of elegant barns and a cosy farmhouse that accommodates up to 40 wedding guests. The views provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs, and the grounds provide plenty of opportunities for guests to explore, with meadow walks and games on the lawn. Ceremonies take place in a choice of areas. Outside, the beautiful Arbour constructed from solid oak and natural slate using traditional carpentry skills can be styled with drapes to create a soft and romantic look, or the posts and beams can be adorned with ivy, flowers or bunting. It’s surrounded by open countryside views and holds up to 120 guests. Inside, the Threshing Barn provides a light and airy ceremony space for up to 80 loved ones with natural tones of exposed stone and wood. Brides (or grooms) may choose to make an entrance down the contemporary glass and walnut staircase. The real log fire and underfloor heating ensure it’s cosy during the winter. The Garden Venue, hosting up to 120 guests, is a versatile space leading from the Threshing Barn so that guests don’t have to venture outside. The theme of this space brings the outside in, with the views stretching across the Arbour Lawn, Garden Meadow and over to Berry Tor. Receptions take place in The Threshing Barn Bar for up to 120 guests, with the feature bar made from walnut and oak, creating a focal point for celebrations.
