Ideal as wedding favours, each chocolate has been hand-moulded in Devon, and is wrapped in 100% compostable packaging. The four irresistible flavours available in the new miniature size are dark chocolate, milk chocolate honeycomb, dark chocolate with peppermint and Evening Star which is a type of rich and smooth milk chocolate boasting stronger and darker flavours than standard blends. Commenting on the products, managing director Dan Bly says, “First launched in 2017, The Bar has been a tremendous success. Customers love the unique flavours, the fact that it's hand-moulded, and that it’s made using organic, fair trade cacao nibs. The introduction of a 25g size for the hospitality and catering trade seemed the next logical step and we’re excited to see how it’s received.” In addition to the flavours in the 25g size, Salcombe Dairy produces 11 other mouth-watering flavours, all available in 80g bars, including dark chocolate ginger, milk chocolate caramel with Devon sea salt and dark chocolate teamed with Salcombe gin, sloe and juniper.
