Think neon signs, live bands, games and plenty of music.” flicksbox.co.uk | 07853 710 795 | flicksbox Kate Grayshan is one of the founder members of the Exe Valley String Quartet, a group of classically trained and experienced musicians based in Devon. She plays the viola and enjoys performing folk music and popular tracks. She tells us how more and more couples want to hear their favourite song or piece of music played on their wedding day. “We’re happy to create bespoke arrangements and entertain with all sorts of music, from the Game of Thrones theme tune and Rather Be by Clean Bandit, to numbers by Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. Some pop songs lend themselves really well to a string quartet so almost anything is possible!” She also states how couples usually have a few special requests. “When thinking about a playlist for their wedding reception, many couples opt for a good variety of classical, jazz and folk as well as pop and rock tracks. This works really well and provides something to suit all tastes.” Exe Valley String Quartet 07852 314 708 exevalleystringquartet.co.uk MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT 61
