Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue24)

I accessorized my dress with a simple three-tier gold necklace featuring a small diamond, an elegant bracelet, and a flower accessory in my hair. We decided on a beach barbecue that catered for everyone’s taste. We displayed a fishing basket to hold the cards and a beautiful wooden surfboard made by my brother for our guests to sign and write a short message to us on. Our guests loved our ‘Get Lei’d Bar which consisted of a basket of Hawaiian leis for them to wear and take some photographs with. Our delicious cake was a lemon sponge flavour decorated with tropical leaf icing – it looked and tasted amazing! My bouquet complemented our centrepieces of tropical flowers and foliage displayed in old glass bottles. REAL WEDDINGS 41 
