Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue24)

We had to get married on the beach! We are both water babies so it just felt right. I had always wanted to say my vows barefoot on the sand. Lusty Glaze was the perfect choice – it’s a beautiful private cove and you can have the ceremony right on the beach. We wanted to bring a bit of Hawaii, where we got engaged, to Cornwall so the theme of our wedding reflected our love of the sea. I personally designed the decorative touches adding a tropical vibe with lots of greenery and flower varieties from the pacific. Our table plan was very relaxed – we didn’t have named spaces, just round tables seating 10 guests at each one.
