THE OUTDOORS D aisy and Liam attended the same secondary school but didn’t really acknowledge one another until six form. It was a few years later that their relationship blossomed, during a night out with friends in 2010. “We have both since admitted that we liked something about each other in school, which is amusing considering that we ended up getting married,” Daisy tells us. The couple became engaged in a surprise proposal on holiday in Bali. “Liam had been hiding the engagement ring in his sock drawer for months,” Daisy explains, “and had managed to smuggle it into our rucksack and all the way to Bali! He had planned to propose one week into our trip in a remote part of the island on my birthday. As we sat down to breakfast, he placed the open ring box on the table and asked me to marry him.” Here, Daisy tells us about their relaxed, informal day with personal touches.
