How can I best conceal these on my wedding day without looking caked in make-up? Ella says: The most important thing to consider is skin health because your make-up follows a targeted skincare regime. I would highly recommend three things to consider using a few months before your wedding: *Healthy Skin Within - a vegan supplement by Arbonne that you drink. It stimulates collagen production that depletes with age. *Free-from products such as Arbonne’s RE9 Advanced range used in conjunction with the Arbonne Intelligence Genius Ultra device that helps to smooth out wrinkles. *Cosmetics that don’t contain mineral oil. This is a petroleum-based product and is commonly found in many skincare formulas. The correct make-up application is also extremely important. Remember that coverage doesn’t need to be thick, simply pay attention to problem areas, and do invest in an experienced make-up artist who will know how to conceal fine lines and wrinkles. ALL MADE UP My wedding takes place this winter and I need some seasonal ideas for make-up shades. I have blonde hair and fair skin so what products and colours would you recommend? Emily says: Foundation is the best place to start and the type of product that you choose will depend on your skin type and the overall finish that you’re hoping to achieve. GOSH #Foundation Drops is a product with a lightweight formula containing Argan oil that helps skin appear healthy and hydrated, even in the cold weather. Blusher is also very important for the winter months, helping skin glow. A cream blusher is ideal for keeping that fresh-faced look. Set it with a translucent powder and then apply a bronzer. Layer this very lightly over the cheekbones, temples and jaw line. Invest in the All Nighter long-lasting setting spray by Urban Decay that will keep your make-up in place. Waterproof eye make-up products are a must for a winter wedding. Apply an eye shadow primer and then prep the lid with a neutral colour to act as a base, followed by the desired shade. Having fair skin and blonde hair, I would recommend a mix of neutral and light brown tones. It’s worth considering lash extensions which are very popular at the moment. If you’re prone to sensitive eyes, these will be better than strip lashes. I would advise to get a set done prior to the wedding to make sure that you feel comfortable with them. A red or berry lip is a great way to add a pop of colour. These shades will suit your skin tone but if you’re not brave enough to go bold, then a colour close to your natural lip will work well. Remember to blot them to make the product last longer.
