Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - November/December 2019 (Issue 22)

I’m a huge fan of the Great British Bake Off so choosing our cake was a real treat! We decided on a combination of vanilla, white chocolate and lemon sponge wrapped in buttercream and decorated with cream and pink roses. My dress was the style Carendon by Romantica. It was a stylish A-line gown in a delicate lace with an illusion train and sleeves. As soon as I saw it on the hanger I fell in love with it! I couldn’t wait to try it on and as soon as I stepped out of the dressing room and looked at myself in the mirror, I knew it was the dress for me. Our bridesmaids wore dusky pink full-length chiffon dresses featuring embellished necklines. Jonathan’s groomsmen all wore the same as him. He had his heart set on wearing a navy suit that looked wonderful teamed with a pink tie, his buttonhole, white shirt and brown brogues. I wore a silver diamante hair accessory similar to those that my bridesmaids had and my hair was styled in an elegant up do. REAL WEDDINGS 41 
