Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - November/December 2019 (Issue 22)

The interior of the hotel is so timeless and elegant, which was exactly the look we were trying to achieve for our day. We both have large families so we wanted to find a space that could hold all of our loved ones but still feel intimate – it ticked all of our boxes! Woolacombe Bay Hotel is set on the Devon coast overlooking the beach with breathtaking views. We knew we wanted this iconic building to be the backdrop for our official photographs. My dad and I wanted to embrace the tradition of arriving at the venue together so I hired a Morris Minor for us to travel in. It looked so cute decorated with ribbon and it gave us the opportunity to chat about the day ahead. 40 My sister Emily sang and played the guitar during the signing of our register. She became overwhelmed with emotion so the whole room helped her by singing along. It was one of the most memorable moments of our wedding.
