My sister created our amazing blue ombre cake. It was adorned with red roses and other seasonal blooms and tasted as good as it looked! We gave our guests black crackers with their names written on in gold as the place settings and favours combined. Inside were miniature bottles of Scottish Whiskey and crayons for the children. We chose to have a wild floral arrangement displayed on our ceremony table. We had a red Persian rug lining our aisle, fairylights draped above it and coloured lanterns suspended from the ceiling. We wanted a winter wedding so needed a venue that felt warm and intimate. We loved the atmosphere at Upton Barn and the large windows that filled the room with natural light. It was the first venue that we visited and we cancelled all of the other viewings and booked our date straightaway! 34
