It offers a romantic setting for winter weddings against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean with uninterrupted sea views. Ceremonies take place in The Bay Suite for up to 200 guests. The wedding breakfast and reception can also take place here, or in the bar and restaurant with the additional feature of a glass-fronted terrace showcasing views of the picturesque Abbotsham Cliffs. KILMINORTH COTTAGES, LOOE, CORNWALL This ancient farm has now been converted into a private village of 13 cosy holiday cottages secluded in 32 acres of grounds in a valley on the Cornish coast. Weddings take place within these grounds, with a dedicated altar in a stone-walled paddock and space for a bonfire, firepits and a firework display. Ceremonies take place in a variety of areas including the main farmhouse, cottages and the Duck House that’s set on a hillside. A local church ceremony can be arranged, with the celebration continuing back at the estate. The wedding breakfast can be a relaxed feast or hog roast, or a fine dining experience. The reception can be themed, with festival-inspired weddings a popular choice with guests enjoying a treasure hunt or a walk in the woods.
