The wedding breakfast can be held in The Wedgwood, an oak barn area, with up to 120 guests seated on round tables. The evening entertainment takes place in The View, complete with an American-style bar and a glitterball, and the oak-framed decked terrace looks romantic lit up at night with festoon lighting. DEER’S LEAP RETREAT, SOUTH MOLTON, DEVON This hidden treasure nestled on the edge of Exmoor National Park is a traditional country farmhouse boasting beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces. The panoramic countryside views are unrivalled, as are the sunsets over the lake. Ceremonies can be held in several locations, including The Lakeside Gazebo and The Stone Barn, each licensed for up to 100 guests, and being the most popular areas. There’s also the option of saying ‘I do’ in the dining room, lounge and snug area in the farmhouse. Receptions take place outside in a marquee from 60 to 150 loved ones, or under the stretch canvas structure, which is a romantic summery option.
