Part of the latest stage in the island’s multi-million-pound refurbishment, it serves locally sourced produce in dishes infused with British, French and Asian-inspired flavours. The menu has been designed to reflect seasonal changes, and will be varied to ensure guests staying more than one night at the property will have the opportunity to sample contrasting culinary themes and flavours. The Guild of Photographers is a highly regarded national photographic body and its members are dedicated to enhancing their skills in the art, craft and profession of photography. Martyn says of his win, “I am so happy to achieve this Silver Bar, I’m a new member and this is my first entry into the Image of the Month competition. The winning image has now been put through to the Photographer of the Year.” Lesley Thirsk, director of the Guild, adds, “I’m delighted that Martyn has achieved this award. The guild has very demanding standards when judging photographic competitions.
