Civil ceremonies take place in a variety of areas for up to 100 seated guests. There’s The Regency Room with its light grey and blue walls, the Library decorated a vibrant yellow and the Banquet Hall, which offers neutral décor and is ideal for larger weddings. The Morning Room with its soft green hues lends itself best to smaller nuptials. Outside, there’s the Island by the lake and the Summer House located in the pretty garden. The wedding breakfast can be hosted in the Library for a maximum of 65 guests seated, or in the Banquet Hall for a total of 100 people. The evening reception hosts a maximum of up to 150 loved ones. Surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens, it’s an open-sided oak barn set against the banks of the Dartmoor River. Come nightfall, guests can party under the stars and in the event of rain, drinks and canapés can be served under the glass roof on the terrace, or in the clear-walled marquee. This venue also features pop-up lounges, a great way to entertain guests during the evening. The Bubbles & Botanicals lounge offers an old Hollywood feel while the Whisky & Cigar lounge is inspired by the Art Deco era. Each are dressed with furnishings and props.
