The groomsmen wore black velvet jackets with tuxedo trousers, they also wore fitted shirts, waistcoats and black bow ties. John wore custom-made black trousers and ivory, double-breasted jacket, which he had embossed with the date of the wedding. He paired this with a fitted shirt bearing his initials and finished the look with Oxford shoes. I wore a sleeveless Elysee Bridal design with a long train. I loved its cathedral lace detailing, which made it very traditional. I had a large bouquet, which consisted of a mix of white flowers including roses and hydrangeas, while the bridesmaids all had a smaller version. The groomsmen wore white rose buttonholes. I complemented my dress with a long veil, and ivory ‘wifey for lifey’ shoes by Sophia Webster, along with a matching bag. My eight bridesmaids were dressed in long white dresses with a drape on the bust and capped sleeves, they were flattering for all of their ages and body types. 30
