To celebrate, we hired the fantastic DJ Lee Morrison. I knew him from Instagram and he lives close by. So many people recommended him to us as he caters for everyone and with his background of playing in Ibiza we knew he’d play the type of music our friends would love. Our place names were made by the fantastic Pink Sherbet. Cheryl also made our invitations. They were elegant and fitted right into the rest of the décor. I didn’t want a traditional cake – I never do anything by the book! So, I had a three tier square cake in three delicious flavours: lemon, chocolate and white chocolate raspberry ripple. From visiting Delamere Manor I had a vision of the the centrepieces and flowers I wanted. The venue itself is so beautiful I didn’t want to take anything away from it, but I also dreamed of a pure, romantic, elegant look. I wanted something sweet for our wedding favours to make sure they were taken and enjoyed. So, we had chocolate Rolo brownies, school cake, and cherry Bakewell blondies. Safe to say they went down a treat! Our man-of-honour made our table names. They were dates from special occasions and achievements important to Matthew and I on our journey together. 39 REAL WEDDINGS
