Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - September/October 2024 (Issue 77)

The table plan reflected our years of travelling with tables named after our favourite holiday destinations including Courchevel, Las Vegas, Florida, Cannes, London, York, and New York. The tableware reflected the gold tones from the flowers and bridesmaids’ dresses with gold cutlery, gold-rimmed glassware and beaded gold charger plates. Our favours were rustic shots of gin, homemade by a friend. They were delicious and very popular! Jacqui worked hard to ensure nothing went to waste. Everything was repurposed from the ceremony to reception seamlessly. They were also constructed in a way that meant the flowers could be taken home in bouquets for guests to enjoy. Our centrepieces were a concoction of gorgeous blooms in a range of colours from our palette: gorgeous peaches, blues and creams. We went for a blend of tall and small centrepieces to be sure not to overwhelm the space bringing it a sense of balance. The ceremony aisle was filled with flowers, in addition to having a huge floral arch and decorative structure around the staircase, plus more bowls of flowers in the windows. Jacqui O Florals took my rambled description of my vision and brought it to life and then some. Words can’t do it justice. Our cake was a four-tier white and marbled cake with our C|B wedding logo that also featured on our stationery. 47 REAL WEDDINGS
