After a school trip to Paris they became besotted with each other, realising they were more than just friends and got together at the age of 15. “Laughter was definitely our bond, sharing a sense of humour throughout the years and building from our foundation of friendship,” Chloe shares. Brandon proposed the day before their eighth anniversary to keep it a surprise, as Chloe was starting to get suspicious! He’d been working away at the weekend and on precious little sleep travelled home to set up their living room with decorations and gifts while Chloe was out. “I returned home to a proposal by our fireplace with our dogs and a beautiful setup. It was perfect and intimate,” Chloe remembers. The bride-to-be had a very particular vision for their big day and no venue they could find quite met the criteria: too old, too modern, too traditional, too contemporary... Brandon then happened upon Dorfold Hall and on investigation further discovered it was right on their doorstep!
