We forgot to get the white carpet out for my walk down the aisle, so Chris’ best man, Wayne, went to retrieve it and carried it over his shoulder form the Hall out to the garden, much to the amusement of our guests! The stationery was designed by a very good friend of ours and included illustrations of Arley on the table plan, and of peonies on the table cards to match our flowers. The Northern String Quartet played at the wedding reception outside in glorious sunshine. REAL WEDDINGS 41
