We travelled around Thailand on honeymoon and left the day after the wedding. We visited an elephant sanctuary, spent a day on Pig Island feeding pigs and puppies, and travelling to the most unbelievable beaches. My top tip is to have minimal people around on during the morning, as it gets so overwhelming. Also, spend as much time with your new spouse on the day, as it’s over in a flash! Enjoy every minute. Our suppliers were amazing. I didn’t have to worry all day, which was lovely. The team at Colshaw Hall are so organised and our wedding coordinator was brilliant. Having our florist Rachel there to switch from the ceremony room to the Peel Suite was fab too. We also had a photo booth, which was brilliant as each photo got printed and RW Entertainment asked everybody to stick a photo in the guest book and write a message alongside it, which was so funny to look at the next day. Ben’s speech was honestly one-of-a-kind, it was my favourite part! He sang Rick Astley to me, I was completely taken aback, and everyone was up singing with him!
