Along with a magical backdrop for pictures and videos, all combined with delicious award-winning food and drink, and impeccable service, you’ll be the only wedding at the Castle allowing you to enjoy your fairytale of a day in complete privacy. CEREMONY TO CELEBRATIONS There are a wealth of options for hosting your whole day here beginning with the Great Hall. Imagine saying your marriage vows with the sun streaming through the stained-glass windows, a string quartet playing on the Minstrel’s Gallery, and candlelight reflecting off the Minton Hollins tiled floor. Here you can host 165 loved ones for your ceremony and 120 for the wedding breakfast. The Hexagonal Room has a vaulted stone ceiling and at the apex you’ll see a carved stone with the Tollemache family grace: “At dinner and supper, morning and night, give thanks unto God for his gifts.” Here you can seat 80 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. The Library boasts tall, imposing windows and the addition of flowers and candles turns the room into a magnificent setting with plenty of ambience. It can host 30 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. Another intimate space is the Wine Cellar, tucked away in the heart of the Castle. It offers an elegant and rustic ambience quite unlike anywhere you’ll have been before. It can accommodate 40 for the vows and 80 for dining. Finally, for your ceremony you have the option to say “I do” in The Chapel. Built in 1848 and set inside the fortified walls, it’s the perfect place for your religious blessing or renewal of vows (not available for civil ceremonies) and the local minister will be happy to officiate. TALHENBONT HALL 01766 810 247 | www.talhenbonthall.co.uk Built in 1607, Talhenbont Hall is a privately run, family-owned estate nestled in the Welsh countryside on the Llyn Peninsula. The Hall itself is a 17th-century Elizabethan manor house, accompanied by a Grade II listed coach house and five charming cottages, which are dotted around the estate. There is sleeping accommodation for 42 people on site with plenty of alternatives locally for those unable to stay at Talhenbont. There’s also a beautiful bridal suite situated in the manor house, which boasts a free-standing bath and four-poster bed. The Coach House Terrace was a new addition for 2022. A stunning space with a modern twist, the Terrace boasts a firepit, fabulous views of the River Dwyfach and ancient woodland. Couples love this al fresco spot and it’s ideal for drinks receptions. What’s more, the estate’s grounds and gardens are simply stunning and offer endless photo opportunities. THE “I DOS” You have the choice of three ceremony spaces, inside and out. Cromwell Hall is a gorgeous historical room boasting original beams and Minton floor. It can accommodate 70 loved ones to witness your vows. The Coach House can hold 150. A Grade II listed structure, it has plenty of original features to show off, alongside a modern twist with glamorous chandeliers and windows. The Pergoda overlooks ancient woodland and the River Dwyfach. Seating here is amphitheatre style, meaning all of your loved ones have a fabulous view as you say “I do.” THE CELEBRATIONS The Coach House hosts receptions and with oodles of natural light it’s a gorgeous place to enjoy your wedding breakfast. A large bi-fold window at the back looks out over the ancient woodland. It can welcome 150 for dining and 200 for the evening do.
