Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - Page number 6 - September/October 2021 (Issue 59)
If you dream of being a princess for the day, be sure to check out fashion editor Claire’s round up of this season’s fairytale gowns. WIN! A honeymoon in Provence, France W elcome one and all to another issue of Your Cheshire & Merseyside Wedding . Here we are, my favourite part of the year where it feels like there’s so much to look forward to (will you be cross if I say I’m excited about Christmas already?). I adore the autumn as colours change and the air starts to cool. Mind you, based on the weather as I write this, the temperatures won’t have far to fall this year! What a great time to get married though. September tends to be pretty dependable climate-wise and there’s a wonderfully romantic feel of promise just as the seasons change. Plus, I love to see what couples and their suppliers come up with in terms of wedding colour palettes at this time of year – burgundy paired with blush is my top tip! I’m loving being involved with wedding plans myself as Melissa, my dear friend and editor here at CWM, makes plans to tie the knot next July, with yours truly as bridesmaid – I may have mentioned that once or twice... She’s already chosen her gown, in which she looks stunning. But what we learned from this experience is not to panic if you don’t instantly burst in to tears at the knowledge that it’s the one . If that’s just not you, you’re unlikely to change your entire personality the moment you try on a wedding dress. Sometimes, the knowledge that you’ve chosen your dream attire comes from careful deliberation and a process of trying on all silhouettes to know what suits and what doesn’t. Melissa actually chose a dress that’s the complete opposite to what she thought she’d go for and this is something we as editors hear all the time. Remember: you do you and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I hope you enjoy this splendid issue and keep planning! Kelly x Kelly Andrews, senior editor Good times 58 I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Emolyne Ramlov, founder of Emolyne Cosmetics – such a vivacious personality. Read the interview and begin the journey towards your perfect big-day beauty shade. 72 81 Excited about the return of restriction-free weddings, I decided to take a look back at some of our favourites over recent years, big and small. Sara and Mike’s day still stands out for me, I so admire its individuality and style. 34 Tim McBaj www.pau lbaybutphotography.com 6 ISSN 2052-0522 EDITORIAL 01376 535 611 Kelly Andrews | Senior Editor and Beauty Editor kellya@county.wedding Danielle Harvey | Managing Editor, Grooms Editor and Travel Editor Claire Ridley | Fashion Editor Melissa Barker | Contributing Editor DESIGN 01376 535 616 artwork@county.wedding Graphic Designers | Sarah Hill Stephanie Hodder | Vicky O’Connor Production Assistant | Lorna Butcher Digital Marketing Coordinator Katie Laley Web Development Manager Stuart Weatherley ADVERTISING Sales & Events Director Sarah Ellis | 01376 538 490 sarahm@county.wedding Account Manager Rachel Hughes | 01376 538 558 rachelh@kdmediapublishing.com Julia Owen | 01376 538 556 juliao@kdmediapublishing.com Subscriptions 01376 514 000 subscriptions@county.wedding ACCOUNTS 01376 535 616 accounts@county.wedding Accounting Manager | Derrick James Your Cheshire & Merseyside Wedding is solely owned, published and designed by KD Media Publishing.
