Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - March/april 2021 (Issue 56)

46 P ortmerion is a stunning vibrant and quirky village in Gwynedd on the shores of the River Dwyryd. It was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1973 to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed in the style of an Italian village. Having been made famous by popular 1960s TV series The Prisoner , it’s one of Wales’ premier attractions, and now the location for this breathtaking styled wedding shoot. Armed with a Pinterest board bursting with wedspiration and everything they needed to create the shoot of their dreams, coordinators and friends Cassie of Cassie M Bridal and Sally of Blue Bug Photography set off for Portmerion one sunny Saturday in September. Sally tells us, “It’s safe to say we caused a stir with our couple, camera, drone, confetti canon, smoke bombs and flower laden bicycle! We explored the whole village and captured some amazing shots. Social distancing and face masks didn’t stop us having a fantastic day with an amazing bunch of fun suppliers.” This stunner of a local shoot captures the vibrancy of Portmerion to a tee Images courtesy of Blue Bug Photography Video courtesy of Woodpecker Films BEAUTIFUL Colour me
