They swiftly became close friends, but this didn’t evolve into a date until years down the line. Chris proposed to Karla on her 31 st birthday for which he’d booked a romantic getaway to Ullswater in the Lake District. He picked a stunning spot in front of Aira Force Waterfall to get down on one knee, completely surprising Karla with this perfect end to their lovely weekend.
