Rebecca says: My advice to all brides on a quest towards healthy hair on your wedding day would be to restrict regular use of heated tools, and add some hair and nail vitamins into your diet. Eating rich omega foods helps to create natural shine. Avoid bleaching your locks and treat your hair with a weekly or monthly mask. You could also invest in a luxury shampoo and conditioner that’s paraben and sulfate free. People tend to think they have to grow their hair as long as possible for their wedding day, but as long as it’s cut regularly and looks its best sometimes the length isn’t needed. Having a trim can help your locks to grow and also make them appear thicker. GLOWING GODDESS How can I create a bridal glow with my make-up products? Vicky says: Bronzer and highlighter are two key ingredients when creating a glowing and radiant make-up look for your wedding day. The trick is to use them strategically and not to over do it, or else you may end up looking shiny and orange in your wedding photos! I apply bronzer after I’ve perfected the complexion and set with loose powder, generally selecting cool-toned bronzers with no orange or shimmer, as these photograph better. I sweep this underneath the cheekbones and beneath the jawline using a small angled blusher brush to define the bone structure of your face. You can also use a small brush and blend the bronzer down the sides of the nose to make it look slimmer. I brush a light dusting across the forehead as well. Once I’ve applied the bronzer, I then blend some blusher from the apples of the cheeks back towards the temple. Highlighter is then used with a small fan brush just along the tops of the cheekbones. I like to use a small eyeshadow brush to apply a bit of shimmer just beneath the brow and in the tear duct area of the eye. Even though it’s trending on social media, avoid applying highlighter to the tip of the nose, as it can read as shiny or greasy on camera. Remember, less is more!
