Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - September/October 2020 (Issue 53)

Sophie wore a stunning gown by Essense of Australia, with a low neck, lace sleeves and a long train. She looked like a real princess in a real castle! I wore a grey morning suit with a tweed waistcoat and dark grey cravat. The waistcoat and tie were different to the groomsmen, so that I stood out. We also had stag pins and cufflinks made as mementos of the day. The bridesmaids looked stunning in long, flowing dresses, with their hair and make-up professionally done. An abundance of flowers adorned the balcony and arch way leading into the Great Hall, and were later moved to the banqueting hall for the wedding breakfast. They created a real sense of occasion. The venue décor was exactly what we were looking for. The aisle was lined with trees and candles, as well as a white carpet. We also had a Perspex arch over the altar, which we were married under. 26
