They started out as friends and, as the months and years wore on, their relationship blossomed into much more. Matt surprised Sophie by popping the question on her 26 th birthday. They were having a house party and he’d asked Sophie’s mum to distract her while he set up with a guitarist, ready to serenade her with Ed Sheeran’s Perfect .
