Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 52)

REAL WEDDINGS 41 The centrepieces were lanterns and logs, dressed with fresh flowers. We want to thank the girls from Leaf, our florist. They were so professional and everything was seamless. Believe me, when you’re planning a wedding having a supplier who just gets on with it and gives you complete confidence is a really good thing. No stress at all. My dad made the sweet cart, and we bought a sweet buffet sign along with jars, wooden crates, and “just married” bunting. Our semi-naked cake had four tiers, each with a different flavour: Lemon, vanilla, blueberry and orange. It was presented on a rustic log base and dressed with roses and eucalyptus. We also hired a selfie mirror along with props. Everyone could print their photo and write us a message in the guest book. This was a fabulous keepsake and a treat to look through the next morning.
