My ceremony dress was Nigua by St. Patrick. I loved feeling like a princess, but I’m quite practical, so knew I didn’t want to wear it all day. The groom wore a navy suit with a gold check and tie to complement. We asked the groomsmen to wear whatever they felt comfortable in, but they all had a buttonhole to signify that they were part of the bridal party. For the evening I changed into a blush fit and flare gown, Pippin by Wtoo Watters, which I’d had sleeves added to. We love pub quizzes so we decided to host one part way through the evening, featuring a special wedding round. Our guests had great fun. We took ballroom dancing lessons in the lead up the wedding and didn’t tell anyone. Everyone expected us to just stand and sway for our first dance, so we loved seeing the look of surprise on their faces when we launched into our salsa routine. 40
