Amy remembers, “We had such a laugh in those early days and instantly clicked.” Andrew arranged for his romantic proposal to happen on a beach in Mexico, while the couple were on holiday celebrating Amy’s birthday. As they enjoyed a private meal in such a scenic setting, the waiters served a cake with “congratulations” written on the plate. However, they had jumped the gun a little as Andrew hadn’t quite plucked up the courage to ask the all-important question at this point. Amy says, “I was so confused, but we laugh about it now. It was a perfect evening.” Of course, Andrew did ask Amy to be his wife, and she accepted.
