Your Cheshire & Merseyside Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue 50)
Oh Me Oh My was the perfect location for our wedding, as its doors open onto the docks, with a great view of the Liver Building from the rooftop terrace. It’s in close proximity to hotels, restaurants and barns, which was an important consideration for us with guests coming over from the Caribbean and other parts of the world. Violinist Kate Chruscicka enterained guests during the ceremony. She played a number of beautiful pieces on her electric violin. I wore Galatea by Willowby Watters, with blue sapphire and diamond earrings, and a hair vine. The dress was beautifully lightweight and had a lovely princess-feel to it. Plus, it was comfortable and easy to move around in, which was crucial for our first dance routine! We chose dusky blue floor-length gowns for the bridesmaids. They had a lace top and sheer upper back, with a simple silk blue ribbon around the waist. Will was dressed in a smart three-piece suit. It was dark blue and complemented by a patterned fuchsia-coloured tie. He paired with a double-breasted waistcoat in a slightly darker shade of blue. 38
