Built at the turn of the 15 th and 16 th centuries, the single storey great hall, lit by tallow candle and flickering firelight still retains the mysterious atmosphere of the Medieval and Tudor periods – a fabulous backdrop for photos. This hidden gem stands tall within its own walled grounds, amongst a quiet wooded area with a rustic thatched barn, and ample space for dancing the night away in a tipi or marquee. The site itself is a scheduled ancient monument, considered an area of significant historical and archaeological importance in the North West.
