I wore Savannah Miller’s Lucinda with shoes by Harriet Wilde, Peony. Robert was dressed in a blue tail suit with a grey double-breasted waistcoat and striped trousers. His groomsmen all wore matching suits and waistcoats, with plain trousers. The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in Dessy dresses in cameo. We were forced to change our ceremony venue just a few weeks before the big day as the roof of our local church, where we originally planned to say “I do,” had been condemned. Luckily everyone managed to get to the right church on time! We chose to donate £2 per guest to the British Heart Foundation since we’ve both had family members affected by heart conditions. 48
