The pair were staying at Dalesend Cottages in Bedale, which boasts a lovely little secret garden amongst the grounds. It was here, in July 2017, that Robert found the perfect romantic spot to ask Rebekah to marry him. Soon the pair were looking at venues and The Tithe Barn at Meols Hall struck a chord.
