Your Cheshire & Merseyside Wedding - Sep/Oct 2019 (Issue 47)

My bridesmaids looked beautiful in long blush pink lace dresses with Bardot neckline. Jon wore a navy tailcoat suit with an ivory waistcoat and a blush pink cravat. Our dads and usher wore the same colour suit, but in a standard length, with a blush tie and blue waistcoat. All the gents wore personalised cufflinks and socks. I paired my gown with a cathedral-length veil, my great gran’s sapphire ring – which was old, borrowed and blue – and a sparkly bracelet. I had to wear flats as heels lifted the dress up too high off the floor, so I wore a pair of glittery pink Converse. I wore an ivory fishtail Maddison James gown, which was the very first dress I tried on… 25 dresses later, it was still the one! I loved the shape it gave me and the train was divine. Heaton House was everything we wanted in one package. We went to an open day and straight away fell in love with its character, exclusivity and rustic charm. 40
