However, things didn’t quite go to plan when her colleagues set her up on a blind date with David. “We had a great night out on Deansgate. We were both attracted to each other’s sense of humour and fun-loving nature,” Charlotte says. “We’ve been inseparable ever since.” Being lovers of all things French, the pair decided to celebrate their five-year anniversary in Paris. It was here that David popped the question in Jardin des Tuileries, a beautiful park next to The Louvre. “We were saving to buy a house at the time, so I was totally shocked when he popped the question,” Charlotte tells us. The pair returned home and soon set the date for 25 th May, 2018, with a church ceremony followed by a reception at Rookery Hall in Nantwich.
