I wore Abbie by Love Story Bride with the Cleo skirt. I knew I wanted a simple fitted dress with a low or exposed back, and decided on the overskirt for an element of drama during the ceremony, as well as taking advantage of two looks. My bouquet was a trailing arrangement of pale blue nigella, rich blue cornflowers, scented white freesia, little white phlox, pale blue clematis, white scented mock orange, white veronica, little white rose buds, green and white chintz, pale blue echinops, sage green and contrasting green eucalyptus, mint leaves, olive, fern fronds and ruscus, with scented white jasmine trails. Paul wore a blue suit, as did his groomsmen, and he paired his with a grey waistcoat to stand out from the rest of the group. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their blue Morilee dresses. We wanted simple but complementary flowers that were in keeping with the venue’s beauty. We had two large urns at the wedding breakfast. Our florist provided everything for the flowers and centrepieces and moved everything around on the day. 32
