Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding - Page number 59 - June/July 2021 (Issue 83)
This styled shoot is dedicated to those couples who want a deeply intimate and luxurious celebration Images courtesy of Freya Steele Photography S tylist and planner Chloe Kennedy of Kennedy Events & Weddings dreamed up this gorgeous shoot to showcase just how luxurious an elopement can be. “It’s a celebration of the English countryside, with touches of rambling rose and lavender throughout,” Chloe explains. “In these times when travel is limited, there are also a few subtle nods to the Mediterranean.” The shoot takes us on a journey, starting with the arrival at Priston Mill, where the couple are welcomed by a lavender champagne cocktail in vintage Italian glasses. Chloe wanted the whole feel to be relaxed yet elegant. This is seen through the pared-back gown and beauty look of the bride, through to the wonderfully wild florals, softly draped natural fabrics, exquisite table styling and hand-written stationery. “The cake was small but beautifully formed by Angel’s Kitchen,” Chloe says. “While serving coffee and cake on the terrace, taking shade from the afternoon sun, our couple were able to just be together. To draw things to a close, I created a rustic-style cheese and port table – a flavoursome way to end a beautiful day.” elopement An English 59 REGIONAL SHOOT
