To help, south Somerset wedding venue The Barn at Cott Farm has put together a lending library of styling props, accessories and decor to decorate the venue. “Our couples have the day before to style the barn to suit their theme,” Becca says. “We noticed many couples bringing similar decorations, often spending lots of money to buy items for every table that they’re probably not going to have much use for after the big day. However, the team used the time to refurbish the manor house during the periods of closure, and it’s also excited to launch its new spa facilities for wedding couples and their parties. From resurfacing the limestone ground floors and solid-oak floorboards throughout the bedrooms, suppliers and employees have been working tirelessly to paint and decorate the manor in warm, neutral tones to create a welcoming atmosphere when guests can return.
