Our two beautiful bridesmaids wore dusky blue floor-length, V-neck strappy dresses. I wanted something that they would both like and feel comfortable in. We had some stunning couple portraits taken at sunset. We had an acoustic guitarist perform during the d rinks reception and in the evening, we hired a live band who were brilliant. They got everyone up on the dancefloor a nd also learnt a song, especially for us. I loved my personalised robe that I wore on the morning of the wedding. I wore a strapless lace A-line dress with a sweetheart neckline. I visited a few bridal boutiqu es to try on styles and this was the first dress that I felt comfortable in. The groomsmen all wore the same suit as Rob with a slightly different waistcoat in a silvery grey colour so that Rob stood out. They all wore the same tan-coloured brogues. I teamed my dress with a lace-trimmed veil, a pai r of lace bridal shoes, a pearl hair clip, a pair of pe arl stud earrings, a pearl drop necklace and a beautifu l diamond bracelet that Rob gifted me on the morni ng of our wedding. The catering at Wasing tasted incredible! The wedding breakfast was a starter of filo tart with feta cheese, spinach, courgette and pine nuts followed by the main course of beef Wellington served with celeriac and potato purée, roast shallots and parsnip crisps, red wine and port jus. We also served our guests a selection of canapés during the drinks reception with prosecco mixed with elderflower liqueur, apple julep and some local craft beers. 40
