in place before discovering that we were pregnant so our fourth wedding date was set for 30 th May 2021. Our daughter, Alma Lilly Ali, was born on 22 nd November 2020 and after this, our priorities changed so we reduced our guest list from 120 to 23 loved ones and switched our celebration to another venue located on the grounds of The Olde Bell called the Malt House.” The couple styled their micro wedding with elegant sage-green, ivory and gold touches. “We made our table centrepieces and gave our guests packets of wildflower seeds as favours,” Helen tells us. “Everyone loved our delicious salted caramel and vanilla wedding cake - our day was nothing like we’d originally planned but it was perfect in every way.” LOOKING THE PART Helen wore a stunning A-line wedding dress with a lace bodice and a belt. “I teamed it with a Cathedral-length veil and a real flower headpiece made with gypsophila and foliage,” she describes. “Our beautiful bridesmaids wore green halterneck maxi dresses with pearl-encrusted belts and matching hair accessories.” TIME TO ENTERTAINMENT While the couple couldn’t have traditional wedding entertainment due to the restrictions in place at the time, they enjoyed an intimate gathering with their nearest and dearest. “During our speeches, there were some impromptu moments where various guests took turns to say something and it was so honest and full of love,” Helen tells us.
